Bollywood actor R Madhavan recently opened up about his unique role in De De Pyaar De 2, where he plays Ajay Devgn’s father-in-law. This marks the first time Madhavan is portraying such a character, and he admitted feeling nervous about it. Speaking at the trailer launch, the actor said, “I have never done a father’s role before. Competing with Ajay Devgn on screen made me a bit anxious because he’s such a powerful performer.”

When asked about his opinion on working in sequels, R Madhavan expressed that he is open to them as long as the story is strong. “I don’t mind doing sequels if the script is good. At the end of the day, audiences should enjoy the film, and I hope De De Pyaar De 2 connects with them,” he added.

The actor also addressed rumors about using de-aging technology for his youthful look in the film. Laughing off the speculation, he clarified, “People keep saying I’ve used de-aging, but I honestly don’t have the budget for that! It’s just fitness and discipline.” Madhavan credited his appearance to his healthy lifestyle, which he developed while training for his 2016 film Saala Khadoos. He revealed that during that time, he consulted many dieticians and trainers to understand what worked best for his body.
