The film Thamma stars Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana in lead roles and is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Scheduled to release on October 21, 2025, the movie is expected to entertain audiences during Diwali. The story follows Alok (played by Ayushmann Khurrana), who becomes a vampire after encountering a supernatural being named Yakshasan in the forest. He develops a bond with Tadaka (Rashmika Mandanna), another vampire, but their relationship faces challenges because they come from different worlds.
Thamma is produced by Amar Kaushik and is the fifth installment in Maddock Films’ horror-comedy universe, which includes popular films like Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Stree 2 (2024), and Munjya (2024).
