Salman Khan Recalls Kajol’s Father’s Last Meeting

During the conversation, Salman recalled how close he was to Shomu Mukherjee. “Kajol’s father and I used to be very close. He would visit my home almost twice a week,” Salman said. He described the filmmaker as full of energy and warmth, even during challenging times. Salman shared that just two days before Shomu passed away due to a heart attack in 2008, they met, and Shomu insisted on having a drink together. “He said, ‘Yaar, ek drink pila…’ I didn’t know what to do, but I made him a drink. And two days later, he was no more,” Salman recalled.

Kajol, present during the chat, was visibly emotional, and Twinkle Khanna comforted her on the set.
