Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film They Call Him OG has taken the box office by storm. Released with high expectations, the movie has managed to live up to the hype by delivering one of the biggest openings in Telugu cinema history. Including paid premieres, the total worldwide collection has already reached ₹91 crore.
Pawan Kalyan’s OG Opens With ₹91 Crore
The film has secured the fourth-biggest opening for a Telugu film, overtaking some of the industry’s biggest blockbusters. Pawan Kalyan’s gangster drama has surpassed Prabhas’s Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (₹66.75 crore), Kalki 2898 AD (₹65.8 crore), Saaho (₹60 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (₹58 crore), and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise (₹38.15 crore). This proves the massive craze among fans who eagerly awaited their favorite star’s comeback.

Considering that OG had only a limited release in languages other than Telugu, its performance is even more remarkable.
The film, directed by Sujeeth, features Pawan Kalyan in a powerful gangster role. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi also plays a key part, adding to the movie’s excitement. The storyline, action-packed sequences, and Pawan Kalyan’s screen presence have drawn audiences in huge numbers, both in India and abroad. In North America, the movie registered the biggest premiere of the year for a Telugu film, further strengthening its global appeal.
