Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has finally put an end to speculations about his role in Hera Pheri 3. The actor confirmed that the much-awaited film will go on floors in February–March 2026. Fans of the franchise can now look forward to seeing the iconic trio Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal—reuniting as Raju, Shyam, and Baburao after years of delay and confusion.

Earlier this year, Paresh Rawal shocked fans when he decided to step away from the film. His sudden exit even led Akshay Kumar, who had bought the rights to the project, to take legal action against him. Paresh explained that he had valid reasons for leaving and even returned the signing amount with interest. However, after several discussions, differences were resolved, and he is now officially back on board.

Paresh Rawal clarified that the controversy did not damage his relationship with director Priyadarshan. In fact, he believes their bond has become stronger. “Our relationship is very transparent now. Whatever happened, it has made us know each other better. Ghaav bhar gaya hai (the wound has healed),” he shared in an interview. The actor recently finished working with Priyadarshan on another film, Bhoot Bangla, and Hera Pheri 3 will mark their 15th project together.

Over the years, Baburao Ganpatrao Apte has become one of the most loved comedy characters in Bollywood. At one point, Paresh had expressed interest in doing a spin-off film based only on Baburao. However, he now feels the character cannot stand alone without Shyam and Raju. “Baburao needs them. The magic of Hera Pheri is in their teamwork,” he explained.
Paresh also reflected on Phir Hera Pheri, the second film in the series. He admitted that the team had become overconfident and that the movie lost some of the charm of the original. “When I was dubbing, I realised we had gone wrong. Such characters need to be handled with care,” he said.
With the cast reuniting and Priyadarshan back at the helm, expectations are high. Fans are now waiting eagerly to see whether Hera Pheri 3 will recreate the magic of the original classic and deliver the laughter that made the series unforgettable.
