Love stories often begin in surprising ways, and actress Shriya Saran recently revealed how a travel mistake led her to the love of her life. On an episode of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show, streamed on Netflix, Shriya opened up about meeting her husband Andrei Koscheev during a solo trip.

Shriya Saran Met Husband Through Travel Mishap

She explained that she had accidentally booked the wrong flight for the wrong month. Because of this error, she ended up alone on a cruise to the southern part of the Maldives. What seemed like a stressful mishap soon turned into a life-changing moment, as this was where she first met Andrei.

Shriya Saran shared that despite knowing nothing about each other at the time, they bonded quickly during the trip. They laughed, enjoyed new experiences, and formed a strong connection. She added with a smile that the first film of hers Andrei ever watched was Drishyam, and it scared him, which brought a wave of laughter from the audience.

After their first meeting, Shriya and Andrei continued to stay in touch. Their friendship grew into love, and in March 2018, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at her Lokhandwala residence. They welcomed their daughter Radha in 2021, completing their happy family.

On the show, Shriya Saran was joined by her co-stars from her latest film Mirai Teja Sajja, Jagapathi Babu, and Ritika Nayak. The episode was filled with fun, laughter, and candid moments, including the cast joking about each other and even doing impressions of superstar Rajinikanth.

Talking about her career, Shriya was last seen in a special role in the Tamil romantic action thriller Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, alongside Suriya and Pooja Hegde. The movie, released in September, features Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, and Jayaram in key roles.
