James Gunn previously said that he had completed the story treatment for the next chapter in what he calls the Superman Saga. While the exact plot of Man of Tomorrow remains secret, the title itself has a long history. An animated film with the same name was released in 2020, inspired by the 2003 miniseries Superman: Birthright, which reimagined Superman’s origin.
