Actor Ram Charan, who was in Mysore filming for his upcoming action movie Peddi, immediately canceled the shoot to return to Hyderabad and attend the last rites. The shoot he was part of included a grand song sequence with nearly 1,000 dancers and was choreographed by Jani Master. The project had started on Vinayaka Chaturthi and was considered one of the highlights of the film.
