Who Is Jasveen Sangha The Ketamine Queen Linked To Matthew Perry’s Tragic Death Case

Jasveen Sangha, also known as the “Ketamine Queen,” has admitted to selling drugs that led to the tragic death of Friends star Matthew Perry in October 2023. The US Department of Justice said that Sangha, 42, has agreed to plead guilty to five charges, including distributing ketamine that caused death or serious injury. She is the fifth and final person charged in the case.

Court documents revealed that Jasveen Sangha supplied Perry with 25 vials of ketamine, worth $6,000, only four days before his death. Officials said her Los Angeles home was like a “drug-selling emporium.” Investigators also found ketamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax, and thousands of pills during a raid in 2024.

Sangha was arrested in March 2024 and has been in federal custody since August of the same year. She is expected to appear in court soon to officially enter her plea deal. If convicted, she could face up to 65 years in prison, though her lawyers say the sentence may be reduced if she takes full responsibility.

Sangha is a dual citizen of the US and the UK. She graduated from Calabasas High in 2001, later earned a degree from the University of California, Irvine, and completed an MBA from Hult Business School. After finishing her studies, she briefly worked at Merrill Lynch.

On social media, Sangha often showed a glamorous lifestyle with luxury vacations and beauty treatments. But behind the scenes, authorities say she secretly ran an underground drug operation, selling substances to wealthy clients and celebrities.

This was not the first time Sangha’s drugs were linked to a death. In 2019, a man named Cody McLaury died from a ketamine overdose after buying from her. Reports also said Sangha searched online, asking if ketamine could be listed as a cause of death.

Matthew Perry, best known as Chandler Bing in Friends, was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles home’s hot tub on October 28, 2023. The autopsy showed he had high levels of ketamine in his body. The medical examiner ruled ketamine as the main cause of death.

With her guilty plea, Jasveen Sangha’s case marks a shocking example of how drug abuse and illegal supply chains can destroy lives, even of beloved stars.
