The excitement for Bigg Boss Season 19 is growing as the show is just two weeks away from its grand premiere on August 24, 2025. This season, hosted by Salman Khan, will have a political theme, and the makers are bringing together an interesting mix of participants from television, social media, and reality shows.
Bigg Boss 19: Gaurav, Payal, Hunar Join Show
Sources have confirmed that TV actor Gaurav Khanna (Anupamaa), social media influencer Payal Gaming (Payal Dhare), and actress Hunar Hali Gandhi will be part of the show. Along with them, the list includes Splitsvilla and Roadies contestant Siwet Tomar, Bigg Boss Marathi participant Arbaaz Patel, and another Splitsvilla face, Khank Wadhwani.

Other names being discussed as possible contestants are Dheeraj Dhoopar, Gurucharan Singh, Apoorva Mukhija, Dhanashree Verma, and content creator Kirak Khala. However, singer Sreerama Chandra, who was earlier expected to join, might not be part of the final line-up. Arbaaz Patel has already dropped hints about joining the reality show on his social media, while Apoorva Mukhija has teased fans with a “never say never” statement.
The makers are still approaching more celebrities. Actors Pooja Gor and Hansika Motwani have reportedly been contacted, as well as comedian Ali Asgar and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Sailesh Lodha.

This year, Bigg Boss will start as a digital-first season, with episodes streaming on JioHotstar first and airing on Colors TV after 90 minutes. The season will run for about five months, featuring 15 contestants at the start and a few wild card entries later. In a new twist, housemates will take control of the house and make major decisions each week. According to the promo, every action will have consequences, making the game even more unpredictable.
The house for this season is expected to be ready by August 20, and fans can expect intense drama, political strategies, and strong rivalries from day one. With confirmed contestants from different backgrounds, Bigg Boss 19 promises a mix of entertainment, controversies, and surprises that will keep viewers hooked for months.
