In Singapore, Farmer Constructions PTE Ltd has given its Tamil employees a paid holiday on the release day. The company is also offering free first-day-first-show tickets and a $30 Singapore dollar allowance for food and drinks. The management described this as part of its “workers’ welfare and stress management” initiative. The announcement quickly went viral, and many Rajinikanth fans praised the gesture online.

Another Singapore company, SB MART, has decided to stay closed from 7 am to 11:30 am on August 14 so that staff can watch the film. In India, a company in Madurai has declared a full-day holiday for all its branches. The company said it wanted to avoid multiple leave requests to the HR department and also celebrate Rajinikanth’s 50 years in cinema. As part of the celebration, they plan to distribute food in orphanages, serve sweets to the public, and donate to old-age homes.
The Coolie trailer, released recently, has further increased anticipation among fans. The film has already broken records in advance ticket sales and has become the highest overseas procurement for a Tamil movie. Reports suggest it will be released in more than 100 countries.

However, the film has been given an ‘A’ certificate by the Censor Board, meaning it is for adults only. This has raised some concerns among family audiences who often enjoy Rajinikanth’s films with children. Despite this, the buzz around Coolie remains strong, and fans are eager to see the superstar in action.
Along with Rajinikanth, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Aamir Khan, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Shruti Haasan. The release will also see a major box office clash, as Coolie competes with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2 on the same day.
