Born as John Michael Osbourne in Birmingham, England, Ozzy Osbourne, became famous in the late 1960s as the lead singer of the band Black Sabbath. The group is known as one of the creators of heavy metal music. Some of their most popular songs include Paranoid, Iron Man, and War Pigs. In 1979, Ozzy left the band and started a solo career. His first solo album Blizzard of Ozz included the hit song Crazy Train.

Ozzy Osbourne,was known not only for his music but also for his wild and shocking stage behavior. One of the most talked-about moments was in 1982, when he bit the head off a bat during a concert, thinking it was fake. He later had to get a rabies shot.
