Aneet was born in October 2002 in Amritsar, Punjab, in a middle-class family. She grew up far away from the glamorous world of Bollywood. As a teenager, she started modeling and appeared in several advertisements while studying at Jesus and Mary College in Delhi. Her first appearance in a film was as an extra in the 2022 movie Salaam Venky, which starred Kajol.

Her big break came in 2024 when she acted in the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry. In the show, she shared the screen with well-known actors like Pooja Bhatt and Raima Sen. That year, she also recorded her first song titled Masoom and played a small role in the TV show Yuva Sapno Ka Safar.
Director Mohit Suri was looking for fresh talent for Saiyaara, and Aneet’s audition stood out among hundreds. Both Mohit and the YRF team were so impressed that they chose her as the lead actress.

Saiyaara has generated a lot of buzz, with advance ticket sales reaching nearly ₹10 crore. The film’s music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and has already become popular among young audiences. Trade experts believe the film could open with ₹15–20 crore at the box office, making it one of the year’s top openings.
Aneet’s journey from being a background artist to leading a YRF film proves that hard work and determination can open big doors in Bollywood even for outsiders. She is a rising star to watch in the coming years.
