Dan Rivera, a well-known paranormal investigator, has passed away at the age of 54. He died during his tour with the famous “haunted” Annabelle doll. The news was shared by the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), the group organizing the tour.

Rivera was in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, for a sold-out event called the “Devils on the Run Tour.” He had just finished a three-day program at the Soldiers National Orphanage, which was hosted by “Ghostly Images of Gettysburg Tours.” Sadly, he was found dead in his hotel room soon after the event ended on Sunday.

Emergency services were called after a report of someone needing CPR, but by the time they arrived, Rivera had already died. The coroner’s office said that there was nothing suspicious about his death, and he was alone at the time. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.
Dan Rivera was also a U.S. Army veteran and had appeared on shows like Most Haunted Places on the Travel Channel. He also worked as a producer for Netflix’s 28 Days Haunted. He was passionate about the paranormal and was known for bringing real-life ghost stories to the public.

The Annabelle doll, which Rivera toured with, is believed by some to be haunted. In the 1970s, famous ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren claimed that the doll was demonically possessed. They said it caused strange events like moving by itself and even hurting people. The doll was later kept in their museum in Connecticut and inspired the horror movie The Conjuring.
Rivera’s sudden death has shocked fans and the paranormal community. Many are remembering him for his dedication to the field and his role in keeping supernatural stories alive. Though his death was not linked directly to the haunted doll, it has added to the eerie legend of Annabelle.
