Mohit said he decided to have dinner with Ahaan after the audition. At first, Ahaan was being formal and well-behaved, trying to impress the director. But after a few drinks, they went to a fun place in South Mumbai, where Ahaan finally opened up. At one point, Ahaan even stood on the bar and danced. That’s when Mohit saw the real side of Ahaan — full of energy and charm. That moment convinced the director that Ahaan was perfect for the film.
Mohit explained that sometimes a person’s real personality shows more potential than any screen test. It was Ahaan’s natural confidence and lively attitude that won him the role, not the scripted audition.
