Marvel’s upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday is one of the most highly awaited movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It will be the fifth Avengers movie and the 39th film in the overall MCU timeline. Fans are very excited about the release, which is expected in December 2026. However, a new update has left fans a bit surprised the movie’s ending is still not finalised.
Avengers Doomsday Ending Still Not Finalised Yet
According to well-known insider Daniel Richtman, the writers are still working on the final act of the film. Stephen McFeely, one of Marvel’s longtime screenwriters, is leading the scriptwriting. He is working closely with Marvel Studios to complete the final scenes.

Another interesting update is that Marvel is shooting some parts of Avengers: Avengers Doomsday in the world of The Fantastic Four. One scene reportedly takes place during a basketball game, which has created a lot of buzz among fans.
There has also been a plot leak that suggests the movie will show a multiverse conflict between Earth-616 (the main MCU universe) and Earth-10005 (the X-Men universe). Letitia Wright’s character ‘Shuri’ will reportedly discover these “incursions” events where two universes collide. This could lead to the destruction of the multiverse.

The movie will feature many Marvel heroes, including the Avengers, Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men. They will join forces to stop a powerful villain Victor Von Doom who will be played by Robert Downey Jr. This is a major twist, as Downey Jr. is known for playing Iron Man, but now he will appear in a completely different role.
Directed by the Russo Brothers, Avengers: Avengers Doomsday promises to be one of the biggest Marvel movies ever. With a massive star cast, multiverse chaos, and a battle against Doom, the film will mark a turning point in the MCU.
