Social media influencer Archita Phukan, also known as “Babydoll Archi,” recently donated ₹75,000 towards two important social causes helping abused children in red-light areas and supporting animal welfare. Archita, who is originally from Assam, shared this news on her Instagram Stories, along with screenshots of the donation receipts.

Archita asked her followers to vote on which causes they cared about most. The options were Health, Elderly, Children, and Animal Welfare. Over 45,000 people voted. ‘Children’ received the most votes (35%), and ‘Animal Welfare’ followed closely (33%). Based on these results, she donated ₹45,000 to an animal care charity and ₹30,000 to an organization that rescues children from abuse in red-light areas.

She wrote, “As per the voting results, donations have been successfully processed. It’s your contribution. Cheers!” in her Instagram Story, thanking her followers for helping choose the causes.
Archita’s act of kindness comes as a surprise to many who know her mainly for her bold content on social media. She has over 9.7 lakh followers on Instagram and has gone viral recently for sharing photos with American adult film actress Kendra Lust. There have also been rumors that Archita may be moving to the US and working on a film with Kendra.

However, behind her glamorous social media image lies a painful past. In a past post, Archita opened up about being trapped in prostitution for six years. She revealed that she paid ₹25 lakh to escape that dark phase of her life. With the help of a close friend and an NGO, she also helped rescue eight other women from similar situations.
Her donation to children and animals shows that she has not forgotten her past and wants to help others who are suffering. Many of her fans praised her kind gesture and saw a new side of her beyond her online image.
