Actress Priya Mani is back with a new Tamil web series called Good Wife, which is set to release on July 4, 2025, on JioHotstar. She plays the lead role in this six-episode legal drama, directed by actress Revathy. The series is a remake of the popular American show The Good Wife.

In a recent interview, Priya Mani shared how she often gets typecast in similar roles, especially as a cop or CBI officer. She jokingly said that she might soon get an “honorary CBI membership” because of the number of such roles she has played. While she is grateful for being considered for strong characters, she wants to explore different roles as an actor.
Priya Mani is already a well-known face in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi films. She is also popular on OTT platforms. She said OTT shows give her the chance to play fresh and different characters, which she enjoys more than repetitive film roles.
Besides Good Wife, Priya Mani will be seen in two big projects: Vijay’s film Jana Nayagan which will release in January 2026, and Season 3 of The Family Man on Prime Video, which is expected later this year.
