According to reports, Aamir Khan will appear in the final 15 minutes of Coolie, where he and Rajinikanth will have an intense face-off filled with powerful dialogues and high-energy action.

The climax scene, which was shot in Rajasthan, took about 10 days to complete. Even though Aamir’s role is a cameo, it is not a small one. Sources revealed that the scene between Aamir and Rajinikanth is one of the most dramatic and action-packed face-offs seen in recent times.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is made on a huge budget of Rs 350 crore and is planned for release on August 14, 2025, just before India’s Independence Day. This will be the first time Lokesh Kanagaraj is working with Rajinikanth. He has confirmed that this movie is not part of his Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), but a completely standalone story.

Due to title issues with previous films named Coolie in Bollywood, the Hindi version of the film will be released under the title Majdoor. This decision was taken to avoid confusion with old classics like Amitabh Bachchan’s Coolie and Varun Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1.
Aamir Khan recently confirmed his appearance in the movie and shared that he didn’t even ask to read the full script because he was excited to work with Rajinikanth. The film’s pre-release business has already created records, and with the combination of Rajinikanth’s mass appeal and Aamir’s powerful cameo, Coolie is expected to break many box-office records upon release.
