Sonakshi Sinha recently spoke about the much-loved Hera Pheri franchise and shared her honest opinion about veteran actor Paresh Rawal. In a recent interview with IANS, she said that she simply cannot imagine Hera Pheri 3 without Paresh Rawal. According to her, his character is the heart of the comedy series and without him, the film would lose its original charm.

Paresh Rawal, who played the unforgettable character of Babu Bhaiya, was a key part of the first two Hera Pheri films. Fans were shocked to hear that he may not return for the third installment. Many believe his comic timing and expressions made the films so iconic. Sonakshi also praised Paresh Rawal for his talent and said it was an honour for her to work with him in their upcoming film Nikita Roy.

She explained how working alongside an actor like him was a great experience. She called him amazing and said she learned a lot from him. The director of Nikita Roy, Kussh S Sinha, who is also Sonakshi’s brother, also shared his views. He said they were lucky to get Paresh Rawal on board after just two meetings. According to him, most directors dream of working with such a talented actor.
There were reports earlier that Paresh Rawal had stepped away from Hera Pheri 3 due to creative differences or payment issues. But in May 2025, Paresh Rawal posted on social media that these were just rumours. He clearly said that he has no disagreements with the director Priyadarshan and holds a lot of respect for him.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s film Nikita Roy, also starring Arjun Rampal, is set to release in theatres on June 27. The film is a supernatural thriller and fans are excited to see her in a different role.
