Superstar Rajinikanth is currently in Mysore shooting for his upcoming movie Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film’s shooting is taking place in Bilikere, and as soon as fans heard that Rajinikanth was in town, a massive crowd gathered to see him. Videos from the spot show hundreds of people lining the streets, cheering and waving at the actor.

Rajinikanth, who is known for his humility and charm, responded to the crowd in a sweet way. In one video, he is seen popping out of the sunroof of his car, smiling, and waving at the fans. He looked genuinely touched by their love. He even asked them to be careful as many were following his vehicle. The police and his security team worked hard to manage the large number of people.

While shooting the film, Rajinikanth also celebrated director Nelson Dilipkumar’s birthday on the sets. Nelson turned 41 on June 21, and the team, including Rajinikanth, celebrated the occasion with cake and flowers. Sun Pictures, the producers of the movie, shared pictures from the celebration. In the photos, Rajinikanth is seen handing Nelson a bouquet and standing beside actor Yogi Babu, who is feeding cake to the director.
Jailer 2 is a sequel to the hit 2023 movie Jailer. Rajinikanth returns as the character Muthuvel Pandian, also known as Tiger. Actress Ramya Krishnan is also coming back as his wife. The film also features other big stars like Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, and Balakrishna. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and the movie is expected to release next year.

Fans are excited about the film and are also curious about a possible cameo from a Bollywood actor, although nothing has been officially confirmed. Rajinikanth will also be seen soon in another movie titled Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is scheduled to release on August 14.
