The Tarzana International Film Festival is all set to shine this September with some big names from the film world. Luke Hemsworth, Morgan Freeman, and Lou Ferrigno will bring their star power to the event. The festival will take place from September 5 to 7 at Regal Cinemas in Sherman Oaks Galleria, where over 70 films will be screened.

The festival will open with the West Coast premiere of the action thriller Gunner, starring Luke Hemsworth and Morgan Freeman. The movie is directed and produced by Dimitri Logothetis and promises a thrilling start to the event.

Famous for his role as the Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno will also be a special guest. He will present awards during the closing-night gala, which will be held at the Braemar Country Club. The event will not only celebrate current films but also honor the legacy of older ones. This year, the festival will mark the 150th birthday of Edgar Rice Burroughs, the author who created Tarzan. As part of this tribute, a special award will be given to writer Kevin J. Anderson for his contribution to science fiction. A special segment will also honor Ron Ely, who played Tarzan in the 1960s television series.
The festival is also teaming up with the Artificial Intelligence Media Festival to showcase new-age digital creativity. Films, music, and visual art made using AI will be displayed, and an AI digital art exhibition will be set up in the theater lobby for visitors to explore.
