Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra and his first wife Prakash Kaur recently celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary. Their son, Bobby Deol, shared a beautiful and emotional picture of the couple on social media.

In the photo, Dharmendra is seen smiling while Prakash Kaur is wearing a garland of roses. The couple looks happy and peaceful as they celebrate more than seven decades of togetherness. Bobby Deol posted the picture on Instagram with the caption “Happy Anniversary Maa and Papa,” along with several red heart emojis. Many celebrities and fans also wished the couple in the comments section. Actor Arjun Rampal commented “God bless,” and Sunny Deol also responded with red heart emojis.

Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur got married in the year 1954 when Dharmendra was only 19 years old. The couple has four children together—two sons, Sunny and Bobby, and two daughters, Ajita and Vijeta. Prakash Kaur has always stayed away from the limelight, but her strength and dignity have earned respect from many. Despite Dharmendra’s later marriage to actress Hema Malini, Prakash Kaur never divorced him and remained a part of his life with grace.
Dharmendra met Hema Malini in 1970 during the shooting of the film Tum Haseen Main Jawan. Their bond grew stronger over the years, and they eventually got married in 1980. Dharmendra and Hema have two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol.

On the work front, Dharmendra was last seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya with Shahid Kapoor. Bobby Deol recently made a special appearance in Housefull 5, and Sunny Deol’s film Jaat was released on Netflix after doing well at the box office. Sunny is also expected to appear in Jaat 2 and Border 2, while Bobby will be seen next in Welcome to the Jungle.
