Television actor Vibhu Raghave has passed away after a long and painful fight with colon cancer. He died on Monday, June 2, 2025, in Mumbai. Vibhu had been receiving treatment at Nanavati Hospital, and his journey was shared by him and his friends on social media. Vibhu had been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2022. From that time, he openly shared his experience, treatment, and feelings through his Instagram account, where he had more than 18,000 followers. Just six weeks before his death, on April 17, he posted a video talking about his condition.
In the video, he revealed that the cancer had spread to his lungs and spine. He said that although chemotherapy was started in January, after four rounds, the doctors found that the treatment was not working. Despite this heartbreaking news, Vibhu spoke with a smile and said he was trying a new treatment and had hope in his heart.

He also requested his followers to continue sending love and prayers, as that meant a lot to him during the tough days. The post received a lot of love and encouraging messages from fellow actors like Rohit Khandelwal, Sharad Malhotra, and Zain Imam.
Vibhu Raghave was well known for his roles in TV shows like Nisha Aur Uske Cousins and Savdhaan India. Many of his friends from the television industry helped raise funds for his treatment. A final crowdfunding post was shared on May 27, just a few days before his passing.
