Suriya’s film Suriya Retro and Nani’s HIT 3 were released in theatres on May 1, 2025, during the Labour Day holiday. These two films had a box office clash but performed well and attracted many fans. However, not everyone could watch them in theatres. For those who missed out, both movies are now coming to OTT platforms, making it easier for fans to enjoy them from the comfort of their homes.
Suriya Retro and Nani HIT 3 OTT release details
Retro is a romantic drama directed and written by Karthik Subbaraj. The film stars Suriya, Pooja Hegde, and Jayaram in important roles. It has been produced by Suriya himself along with Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Jyothika. This Tamil-language movie will be available on Netflix from May 30, 2025. Viewers will be happy to know that it will be released in five different languages—Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

On the other hand, HIT 3 is an action crime thriller. It is written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu and stars Nani, Karthi, and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. This movie will also be streaming on Netflix, but it will arrive a day earlier, on May 29, 2025. Like Retro, HIT 3 will be available in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam—so fans across India can enjoy it in their preferred language.
In terms of box office earnings, Retro earned around ₹96.97 crore globally, while HIT 3 performed better with a worldwide collection of ₹117.25 crore, according to reports by industry tracker Sacnilk.

Looking ahead, Suriya will appear in a new film titled Suriya 46, directed by Venky Atluri. He will be acting alongside Mamitha Baiju and Radhika Sarathkumar. Meanwhile, Nani will be seen next in a film titled The Paradise, where he will be sharing screen space with Sonali Kulkarni. Fans are excited about these new releases and upcoming projects from both actors.
