Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of the blockbuster film Animal, has now confirmed that actress Triptii Dimri will be playing the female lead opposite superstar Prabhas in his next big project, Spirit. Triptii Dimri Replaces Deepika Padukone in Spirit
Earlier, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was expected to play the lead female role in Spirit. But reports said that she had some issues with the shooting schedule. According to sources, Deepika’s team made some demands that were not acceptable to the filmmakers. It was said that she refused to shoot for more than six hours a day and asked for extra payment if the shoot went beyond 100 days. Because of these conditions, the makers decided to make a change in the casting.
Now, Triptii Dimri has been brought on board. Sandeep Reddy Vanga announced her name on X (formerly known as Twitter), and Triptii also shared the exciting news on her Instagram. She expressed her happiness and said that she is thankful to be part of this journey. Her fans and followers welcomed the announcement with joy. Spirit will be Triptii’s second film with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga after the success of Animal. It will also mark her first on-screen collaboration with Prabhas, who will be playing the role of a strong and intense police officer in the film. The movie is backed by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures and is currently in the pre-production stage. It is expected to begin filming in 2025.
