Veteran Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has surprised his fans by walking away from the much-awaited film ‘Hera Pheri 3’. Known for his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the comedy series, his decision to leave has created a buzz in the film industry. However, this is not the first time the actor has stepped away from a major project with Akshay Kumar. Earlier, Paresh Rawal had also opted out of the sequel to the popular film ‘OMG! Oh My God’, titled ‘OMG 2’.

The reason behind his exit from ‘OMG 2’ was the script. Paresh Rawal revealed in an interview that he was not happy with the story and did not want to be part of a film that was made just to earn money based on the success of the first part. He felt that the sequel lacked depth and was being created only for commercial reasons. Therefore, he chose not to be a part of it. In the end, Pankaj Tripathi replaced him in the film.

In the case of ‘Hera Pheri 3’, the actor again cited personal reasons. He said that although people love to see him, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty together on screen, he no longer feels connected to the project. Paresh Rawal mentioned that his decision might have shocked fans, but he believes in being true to his feelings. He added that he is not sure what the future holds, leaving a small possibility that he might return someday.
Meanwhile, the film ‘Hera Pheri 3’ has faced several production delays and changes. There are also reports that Akshay Kumar, who now owns the rights to the film, might take legal action due to Paresh Rawal’s sudden exit.
