Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par Faces Boycott Calls Over Old Turkey Video and Operation Sindoor Post

Aamir Khan is ready to return to the big screen with his new film Sitaare Zameen Par. The trailer of the film was released recently and it quickly went viral on social media. However, instead of just excitement for the movie, the trailer brought along a wave of controversy and criticism.

Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par Boycott Calls

Soon after the trailer came out, many users on X (formerly Twitter) started calling for a boycott of the movie. The reason behind the backlash was a post shared by Aamir Khan Productions praising the Indian Armed Forces for their brave efforts during Operation Sindoor. Although the message was respectful, many people accused Aamir Khan of being silent during past conflicts between India and Pakistan and said this new post was a publicity move to help his film succeed.

To add to the controversy, an old video of Aamir Khan from Turkey also started going viral again. In the clip, Aamir is seen meeting Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdogan. Many people had earlier criticized him for this meeting, as Turkey had openly supported Pakistan during political tensions. Because of this, many social media users said that he does not support India enough, especially during critical times like the recent attack in Pahalgam.

People on social media expressed their anger, saying that Aamir Khan is not vocal enough about India and only speaks up when he has a movie coming out. They also said that if he respects Turkey more, he should release his movie there and not in India.

Aamir Khan’s production team posted a message supporting Operation Sindoor, where Indian forces attacked terror camps across the border. The message thanked the soldiers and the Prime Minister for their leadership.
