India Today Group recently made some important changes in the leadership of its TV business. Rahul Shaw, who has been playing a key role in the company, will now focus all his attention on Stage Aaj Tak, a project that has been growing quickly. This move will help Stage Aaj Tak expand even further, as it is a new platform that aims to connect with a wide audience through new and engaging content.
India Today Group reshuffles leadership strategy
Shaw will step away from his responsibilities with TV and radio, giving him the chance to dedicate himself entirely to this exciting new venture. Stage Aaj Tak has shown early promise, and now, under Shaw’s full leadership, it is expected to grow even more.

In the meantime, Gaurav Verma has been appointed to manage the revenue operations for Aaj Tak on an interim basis. Verma will oversee the revenue teams in several regions, including the South, West, and North areas. Satyaky will continue to handle the East region on his own.
The reshuffle also means that Manisha Solanki will continue leading India Today TV, while Gunjan Taneja will keep managing Good News Today (GNT). With this new structure, all of Shaw’s previous team members, as well as Verma, will now report to Bhatia, a senior leader within the company.

The India Today Group believes these moves will help them stay ahead in the industry, meet the evolving needs of their audiences, and lead the way in media innovation.
