Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday, is slowly picking up speed at the box office. Though the film had a slow start on its opening day, it has shown growth on the second day. It is performing fairly well in India but even better in overseas markets. This rise is largely thanks to the film’s subject, the patriotic theme, and Akshay Kumar’s strong fan base worldwide.

In just two days, the movie has earned ₹17.50 crore net in India, which amounts to ₹21 crore gross. Overseas, it has collected over ₹9 crore, bringing the total worldwide collection to ₹30 crore. While the numbers may not be record-breaking, they are encouraging and show that the film has the potential to cross ₹100 crore within its first week if the pace continues.

Kesari Chapter 2 is a historical courtroom drama. Akshay Kumar plays the role of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, who challenged the British Raj and fought for justice in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre case. R Madhavan plays Advocate Neville McKinley, and Ananya Panday plays a character named Dilreet Gill. The film is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions along with Leo Media Collective and Cape of Good Films.
