The Israeli-Palestinian documentary No Other Land has won the Best Documentary prize at the Spirit Awards, a major recognition for independent films. The film, co-directed by a collective of Israeli and Palestinian filmmakers, tells the story of a West Bank village facing destruction. Its powerful storytelling and emotional impact have made it a strong contender for an Oscar at the upcoming Academy Awards.
Israeli-Palestinian Film Wins Award
Despite its success, No Other Land does not yet have a distributor, making it difficult for a wider audience to access. However, independent arthouse theaters in more than 20 cities are screening the film, and it is available for free streaming in Israel and the Palestinian territories (Israeli-Palestinian).

The Spirit Awards, known for celebrating independent films, took place in a beachside tent in Santa Monica, California. The filmmakers of No Other Land did not attend the ceremony, but their film continues to gain international attention.
At the same event, actor Kieran Culkin won the supporting performance award for his role in A Real Pain, a film about two cousins on a Holocaust tour in Poland. Jesse Eisenberg, who directed and co-starred in the film, won the award for Best Screenplay.
