LeBron: The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back with a strong win against the Portland Trail Blazers after a tough loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Playing on the second night of a back-to-back, the Lakers were without Luka Doncic and Jarred Vanderbilt. However, they managed to secure a 110-102 victory, thanks to outstanding performances from LeBron James and Austin Reaves.
LeBron & Reaves Lead Lakers’ Win
The game started slow for the Lakers as they missed their first six shots. Austin Reaves, determined to make an impact after being ejected in the previous game, got things going with a three-point play. Jaxson Hayes added energy with a powerful dunk, helping the Lakers take an early lead. Reaves continued his strong play, scoring 12 points in the first quarter to put the Lakers ahead 28-15.

LeBron James took over in the second quarter, attacking the basket and keeping the Lakers in control. The Trail Blazers fought back with a 9-0 run to cut the deficit, but the Lakers still held a 55-47 lead at halftime.
Portland came out strong in the third quarter, forcing turnovers and scoring easy points. Deni Avdija led the charge for the Trail Blazers, scoring 14 straight points and bringing his team within two. The game turned physical, and the Lakers did not get many favorable calls from the referees. James kept them in the lead, but they were only up by one point, 78-77, heading into the final quarter.
In the fourth quarter, Dorian Finney-Smith hit a crucial three-pointer, followed by two from James, sparking an 8-0 run. Despite this, Portland continued to fight back and forced them into another close finish. In the final minutes, both James and Reaves made big plays on offense and defense to secure the win.
James finished the game with 40 points, eight rebounds, and four assists, proving once again why he is one of the best players in the league. Reaves was also outstanding, scoring 32 points along with seven assists, two steals, and two blocks.
