Kim Sae-ron was a well-known actress in South Korea, gaining recognition for her roles in movies such as A Brand New Life and The Man from Nowhere. She started her acting career at the age of 9, making her debut in A Brand New Life in 2009. The film was well received and even screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Her performance was praised by critics, with many highlighting her talent at such a young age.

In 2010, she starred in The Man from Nowhere, an action-thriller that became the highest-grossing film in South Korea that year. Kim also made a name for herself in television, starring in popular series like Hi! School: Love On and Secret Healer, also known as Mirror of the Witch. Her most recent role was in the 2023 Netflix series Bloodhounds.

Despite her success, Kim Sae-ron’s career faced challenges in 2022 after she was involved in a drunk driving incident. She publicly apologized for her actions, expressing deep regret over the mistake she had made.
