Akshay Kumar’s latest action-packed film, Sky Force, has been performing well at the box office, crossing the impressive Rs 80 crore mark within just six days of its release. However, the film’s collection has started to slow down during the weekdays, which makes it uncertain whether it will reach Rs 100 crore by the end of its first week.

Sky Force Crosses Rs 80 Crore
The movie had a strong start, earning Rs 12.15 crore on its first day. Over the weekend, the numbers improved significantly, with the collection rising to Rs 22 crore on Saturday and a high of Rs 28 crore on Sunday. By the end of the weekend, the film had earned around Rs 62.25 crore.
But since then, the collections have slowed, averaging between Rs 5-7 crore per day. As of its sixth day, the film has earned approximately Rs 80.75 crore. While it is still possible for Sky Force to hit Rs 100 crore, its weekday collections make that milestone seem less likely for its first week.
The film faces tough competition from Shahid Kapoor’s Deva, which is set to release on Friday, January 31. Deva is expected to be a strong contender at the box office, potentially affecting Sky Force’s performance in its second week.
Despite this, Sky Force has done well globally, with its total worldwide gross collections likely surpassing Rs 100 crore. Set during the 1965 India-Pakistan war, the movie also features Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in key roles. Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force has managed to capture the audience’s attention, but only time will tell if it can maintain its box office momentum.
