Kareena Kapoor’s cousin, Zahan Kapoor, recently shared an update on Saif’s health. He expressed relief that Saif is out of danger and recovering well. Zahan described the incident as “shocking” but reassured fans that Saif’s health is improving. He mentioned that no one knows exactly what happened, but he is thankful that Saif is safe.

The attacker, identified as Mohammed Shariful Islam Shehzad, was arrested on January 19, 2025, in Thane. The 30-year-old, originally from Bangladesh, had illegally entered India and was working in a housekeeping agency. The police stated that he entered Saif’s house with the intention of committing robbery, but things escalated, leading to the attack.
Saif’s family, including his sister Soha Ali Khan, has been in regular touch with the media, providing updates on his recovery. Fans and well-wishers continue to send their prayers for the actor’s swift return to health.
As the investigation continues, Mumbai police have taken the attacker into custody for five days and are working on understanding the full details of the case.
