Model-Actress Dayle Haddon Passes Away at 76 Due to Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

Dayle Haddon, a renowned model and actress from the 1970s, tragically passed away at the age of 76. Her death was caused by suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at the home of Marc Blucas, a fellow actor from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

The incident occurred on December 27, 2024, when local police discovered her lifeless body on the second floor of the house. Another individual, identified as Walter Blucas, was found unconscious on the first floor and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Walter is currently undergoing treatment.

According to the Solebury Township Police Department, the gas leak was caused by a faulty flue and exhaust pipe in the gas heating system. The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company detected high levels of carbon monoxide at the scene.

Unfortunately, this dangerous gas also affected a police officer and two medics, who were hospitalized due to exposure. A toxicology report is still pending to confirm the exact cause of Haddon’s death.

Dayle Haddon was a beloved figure in the entertainment and modeling industries. She starred in films such as Cyborg, Spermula, and The World’s Greatest Athlete. In addition to her acting career, she was a top model in the 1970s and graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 1973.

Her daughter, Ryan, shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother, calling her a “bright light” and an “inspiration to many.” Ryan expressed her belief that her mother’s spirit continues to shine in a better place. Dayle Haddon will always be remembered for her talent, grace, and the legacy she left behind.
