Jay-Z recently made a public appearance alongside his wife, Beyoncé, and their 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, at the premiere of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King. The event was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. The family’s red-carpet moment came shortly after Jay-Z publicly denied allegations of sexual assault from the early 2000s.
Jay-Z Denies Allegations Publicly
Jay-Z opted for a sharp brown suit with a crisp white shirt and black tie. Beyoncé stunned in a metallic gold gown with a plunging neckline, while Blue Ivy sparkled in a gold strapless dress. The family shared smiles and support, especially as Blue Ivy confidently posed for solo photos, making her parents proud.

Beyoncé and Blue Ivy both contribute their voice-acting talents to the film, making the event particularly special for the family. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, was also present, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
The rapper’s appearance came days after he denied allegations of raping a teenage girl at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in 2000. A civil lawsuit filed by Jane Doe accuses Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs of the crime, claiming the victim was drugged and assaulted.
Jay-Z has dismissed the allegations, describing them as baseless and part of a financial extortion attempt by the plaintiff’s lawyer. He has filed to have the lawsuit dismissed, stating, “I will not give in to fraudulent claims.”
Meanwhile, Combs is facing separate legal charges, including sex trafficking, which his legal team has also denied.
Despite the ongoing legal battles, Jay-Z and Beyoncé appeared composed and focused on celebrating their daughter’s achievements. Videos captured the couple cheering for Blue Ivy as she posed confidently, highlighting the strength and unity of the family during challenging times.
