Divya Dutta, a talented actress in Bollywood, has earned fame with her roles alongside some of the biggest stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Kareena Kapoor. Raised by her single mother after her father passed away when she was just 7, Divya’s journey to success is truly inspiring. Her mother, Nalini Dutta, was both a government officer and a doctor, showing Divya how to be strong and fearless.

Divya Dutta’s Bollywood Journey

Divya started her career in the entertainment world at a young age. She even worked in a TV show while she was still in school. Her debut film, Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna came in 1994, and soon after, she starred in Veergati with Salman Khan in 1995. She continued to take on supporting roles in films like Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan throughout the 90s.

Her big breakthrough came when she starred in Train to Pakistan and later in Veer-Zaara with Shah Rukh Khan. Her role in Veer-Zaara earned her several award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. Despite being recognized for these roles, Divya never limited herself to just playing supporting characters. She has taken on many diverse and challenging roles throughout her career, including in films like Heroine, Gippi, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Divya Dutta has now completed 30 years in the film industry. She also made her international debut in The Last Lear, playing the role of Ivy, a nurse.
