Kaley Cuoco’s Awkward Blow-Dryer Incident
During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Kaley shared the funny yet uncomfortable story. She explained that while she was getting ready in her hotel room, she was blow-drying her hair “dramatically” in front of the mirror, feeling like she was in a commercial. Unbeknownst to her, a random man, who she thought might have been a hotel staff member, was in the room.

Kaley said, “I’m blow-drying my hair, and I look up and see a man in my room.” The man seemed to be just as shocked as Kaley, as he slowly started backing out of the room. Kaley quickly yelled, “Sir!” and the man rushed out, apologizing. Kaley was left frozen, not knowing whether the man was an actual hotel employee or someone who had just wandered into her room by mistake.
Kaley admitted that the whole experience was very unsettling. She even shared that every time she picks up a blow-dryer now, she feels the same sense of panic and anxiety. “The blow-dryer starts, and I immediately got PTSD because I put this out of my mind,” she said, laughing nervously.
The actress also joked that the whole situation felt like something that could have happened to her character, Cassie Bowden, from The Flight Attendant. Cassie is known for getting into chaotic and awkward situations, and Kaley quipped, “My life keeps imitating art.”
Despite the traumatic nature of the encounter, Kaley laughed about it in her interview. She also shared that she had never told this story to anyone before, even her family, but felt it was time to open up about it. “I have to tell everyone what just happened,” she said, looking back on the bizarre incident.
Kaley’s humor and ability to laugh at herself have always been a part of her charm, and this story was no exception. While the incident was awkward at the time, it’s clear that she can now look back and find the humor in it.
