On November 20, 2024, Maharashtra held its assembly elections, with voting for 288 seats starting early in the day. Bollywood Stars Akshay Kumar Vote in Maharashtra Elections
Akshay Kumar was one of the first to vote. He was seen leaving the polling station with an inked finger and spoke to the media. He praised the efforts of the Election Commission of India (ECI), especially highlighting the good arrangements made for senior citizens. He mentioned, “The best thing is that the arrangements are very good. Everyone should come and vote because that is the most important thing.”
Actor Rajkummar Rao, known for his roles in films like Stree 2, also stepped out to vote. He spoke to the press and urged everyone to participate in the elections. “It is very important. Everyone, please step out and vote,” he said.
Other celebrities, including Farhan Akhtar and his sister Zoya Akhtar, also came to the polling booth. Farhan shared a picture of his inked finger on Instagram with the message, “GO VOTE. #citizen #duty #responsibility #matter.”
Ali Fazal, John Abraham, and filmmaker Kabir Khan were also seen voting. Many others, including actor Suniel Shetty and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, participated in this important democratic process.
