After the episode aired, Ashneer Grover took to social media to break his silence. In a tweet, he praised Salman Khan for being a great host and actor, emphasizing that he had never intended to disrespect him. Ashneer also defended the numbers related to the business deal he had previously mentioned.

According to him, the figures were accurate and had been verified by a bank and auditor. He further clarified that he had met Salman in May 2019 at JW Marriott in Mumbai to discuss the deal. Ashneer acknowledged that Salman might not remember him from that meeting, as he was not a public figure at the time.
In 2019, Ashneer had made a public claim about negotiating a deal with Salman Khan’s team to hire him as a brand ambassador. He stated that Salman’s team initially demanded Rs 7.5 crores but he was able to negotiate it down to Rs 4.5 crores. This statement had sparked controversy, leading to mixed reactions online.
Salman Khan, during Bigg Boss 18, had strongly disagreed with Ashneer’s version of the events and called his claims false. He even criticized Ashneer for his behavior, calling him “dogla” (two-faced). The confrontation left many viewers shocked, and the clip quickly gained attention across social media platforms.
