He died after falling from several stories at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Just days before his death, Liam had attended a concert by his friend and former bandmate, Niall Horan.
Stars React to Liam Payne’s Death
Following the news of his death, many stars from the music industry expressed their shock and sorrow. Charlie Puth shared his feelings on Instagram, saying, “I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me.” He posted a video of the two laughing together and sharing memories of their time as friends.

Other celebrities, including TY Dolla $ign and author E.L. James, shared their heartfelt messages. Mabel, a singer, shared that she always knew she could call Liam for support and advice.
