The series follows the love story between a “hot rabbi” named Noah, played by Adam Brody, and an agnostic podcaster named Joanne, portrayed by Kristen Bell. Their relationship is filled with comedy and cultural elements, which quickly won over viewers. Following the first season’s successful release on September 26, Netflix quickly renewed the show for another season.

Foster revealed that they have been brainstorming new storylines for about three weeks and are looking forward to expanding the narrative. Both Kristen Bell and Justine Lupe, who plays Morgan, are now part of the writing team. Bell has expressed how the audience’s reaction has been the most thrilling experience she has had since her role in “Frozen.”

In “Nobody Wants This,” Noah aspires to become the main rabbi at a significant synagogue in Los Angeles. This ambition impacts his romance with Joanne, who is not Jewish. In a show of love, she agrees to convert to Judaism but ultimately does not follow through in the first season.

Foster shared her hopes for the series, stating she wants to keep exploring the characters’ stories for as long as possible. The writers have already generated ideas for a potential third season, which they plan to pitch to Netflix soon.

Fans can look forward to more comedy and heartwarming moments in the upcoming season, making “Nobody Wants This” a show to watch.
