Singer Lainey Wilson recently shared a troubling experience from one of her concerts. During an appearance on the Taste of Country Nights podcast, she revealed that someone spat on her while she was performing. Despite feeling disgusted, Wilson chose to continue with her performance instead of confronting the person responsible.

Lainey Wilson explained that this incident occurred during her headlining tour last year. She said, “Somebody spit on me on stage.” Initially, she considered finding out who did it, but ultimately decided to “keep rolling” and finish the show.

Reflecting on the incident, Wilson mentioned that she can laugh about it now, but at the time, she felt shocked and disgusted. “Why would you buy a ticket and then go spit on somebody?” she wondered. She also acknowledged that the person might have been drunk and acting silly.
The singer described the moment as surreal, saying it felt like she made eye contact with the spit before it landed on her. Despite the unpleasantness, Wilson humorously noted, “I got a heart like a truck.”
Lainey Wilson isn’t alone in facing such challenges; other artists like Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Adele, and Harry Styles have also dealt with items being thrown at them during performances. In a past concert, Wilson experienced a wardrobe malfunction when her pants split, but she took it in stride and joked about it afterward.
