Sean “Diddy” Combs, a famous music mogul, was recently arrested in Manhattan on September 16, 2024. His lawyer, Mark Agnifilo, shared that Diddy is currently undergoing therapy and treatment. According to a report by People magazine, Diddy is receiving help for personal issues, though the specifics of his treatment remain private. Agnifilo emphasized that Diddy is taking steps to address these issues, which should be seen as a positive action.
Diddy Undergoes Therapy Amid Arrest
On September 17, during trial, Diddy entered a ‘not guilty’ plea in relation to accusations of being involved in racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and amongst other things. These allegation compiled in a federal indictment accused Diddy of involvement in the planning of ‘freak-offs’ which was define as artistic and complicated raping. He is also accused of using substances such as cocaine and ketamine to the participants and forcing them to participate in these events.

In court some of the prosecution allegations were that at the time of arresting Diddy he had substances in his hotel room. They also said that earlier raids on his houses in Los Angeles and Miami revealed over 1,000 baby oil bottles which were used according to them in these unlawful activities.
Further, the indictment points towards physical abuse starting from as early as 2009 with the accusations that Diddy abused victims with other people around. Thus, Diddy stays in custody until his trial when he is denied bail with him awaiting his trial. It is expected that he will be produced before the Court on September 18 to challenge the ruling.
Still, weighing these very severe allegations, Diddy’s lawyer pointed out that he is in treatment, improving himself, and has some personal problems he is solving, being 54 years old.
