The cast of Schitt’s Creek had a heartwarming reunion at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 15, 2024. Eugene Levy, Dan Levy, Catherine O’Hara, and Annie Murphy came together on stage, bringing joy to fans of the beloved show.

During the ceremony, Dan Levy introduced Murphy as his “TV sister.” They joked around, and Murphy playfully asked everyone to “scooch back” so they could all stay on stage. Dan then made it clear they were presenting the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, not introducing Murphy herself.

Catherine O’Hara was introduced by Murphy as the “favorite TV mom” and went on to announce that Hacks won the Outstanding Comedy Series award.

O’Hara has expressed interest in returning for a Schitt’s Creek reboot and enjoyed the show’s tour after it ended in 2020. She praised the experience, saying working with the cast was a “gift” and that the scripts were great fun.

Murphy shared her struggles before landing her role on Schitt’s Creek. She had faced a house fire and financial difficulties, but things changed when she got the audition for the show, which led to her big break.

The reunion was a nostalgic moment for fans and highlighted the lasting impact of Schitt’s Creek.
