In a video that quickly went viral, Perry Farrell appears to punch Dave Navarro during the concert. The altercation began when Perry, who was struggling with tinnitus and a sore throat, felt his voice was being drowned out by the loud music. This frustration led to a heated exchange with Navarro, who tried to maintain distance.

Etty Lau Farrell explained on Instagram that the fight was the result of mounting tensions within the band. She mentioned that Perry had been dealing with severe sound issues, which were made worse by loud audience complaints. Etty noted that Navarro tried to calm the situation, but things got out of hand when bassist Eric Avery intervened. Avery ended up putting Perry in a headlock and punching him.
According to Etty, the incident was exacerbated by the band starting a song before Perry was ready, contributing to his frustration. The situation escalated quickly, leading to a chaotic scene on stage. Etty described the altercation as a result of Perry’s distress and the band’s loud performance.
As of now, neither the band members nor their representatives have officially commented on the fight. This altercation comes at a critical time for Jane’s Addiction, which recently reunited after a long break.
