Jasprit Bumrah Returns to Training, Shows Love for Punjabi Music

Indian cricket star Jasprit Bumrah has returned to training after a long break. During his practice sessions, Bumrah showed his love for popular Punjabi music star Karan Aujla. The fast bowler was seen bowling in the nets while a mashup of Aujla’s hit songs played in the background.

Bumrah also shared his fondness for Aujla’s music by using one of his hit tracks in a post where he posed with the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy. The 30-year-old cricketer looked refreshed and worked hard in the nets. Bumrah was last seen playing for India in a major international event, where he took 15 wickets and was named the Player of the Tournament.

Bumrah might feature in the upcoming two-Test series against Bangladesh. Following that, India has a busy home season, including a three-match Test series against New Zealand. The team management, however, is cautious with Bumrah due to his history of injuries. He recently underwent back surgery, and the selectors want to ensure he is fit for important upcoming series against top teams like New Zealand, Australia, and England.

Instead of including Bumrah in the Duleep Trophy, the selectors, led by Ajit Agarkar, have opted to rest him and consider other bowlers like Arshdeep Singh and Khaleel Ahmed for the T20Is.
