Robert Logan was born on May 29, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of Catherine, a housewife, and Frank, a banker. As a child, Logan grew up in a loving family. When he was young, his family decided to move to Los Angeles, California, where Logan spent most of his childhood and teenage years.
Before enrolling in college, he schooled at Junipero Serra High School that is located in California, USA, where he practiced Baseball as a sport. The boy, with the gifted talent on the field, got himself a baseball scholarship to the University of Arizona. But because of the department’s change, Logan transferred to Los Angeles City College to pursue his college education.

It was around the last decade of the 1980s when he made a rather profound life decision – leaving acting behind, as he wanted to concentrate on documentaries. It developed him in other aspects of storytelling and it was a new chapter to his career after shooting 9 movies.

Robert Logan was a husband, father and grandfather who regarded his family members a lot. He leaves behind his wife, Alina Ravens, his son Anthony and his daughter, Courtney; granddaughters Elsa, Ingrid and Alma. Logan also had several siblings: The applicants include Logan, Theresa, Janet, and Timothy.
Logan passed away on May 6, 2024, in Estero, Florida, due to natural causes. He was 82 years old. His family chose to announce his passing on August 7, 2024. In their statement, they described him as the embodiment of love, a man who valued his family deeply and lived a life full of warmth and kindness.
