Actress Shivangi Joshi of Kumkum Bhagya fame opened up about her deal on the reality show Pinkvilla Behind The Success show where she mentioned her last minute replacement. The lead character on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai said that she has been cast in a major role in a web series. The girl had managed to pass the auditions and everyone was satisfied with the performance that she had shown. All the necessary conditions appeared to be ripe for her to commence the project. So, there was a day when she was completely shocked to know that she was removed from the project.

Shivangi said, “I was supposed to be a part of some other platform and auditions did take place for it. They liked my performance and everything was finalized. Suddenly at the last moment I came to know that someone else is going to do the project”. She further added that she was replaced by a daughter to one of the celebrities in the country. I said, ‘When did this happen?’ I was told she is someone’s daughter and now she is being considered for the role…I don’t want to mention names…It is almost like you can do the friend part if you want.

Shivangi added, “Now even those two designers who at one time used to call TV actors, and give them outfits also have changed their tune, they say we don’t give outfits to TV actors we only give to Bollywood actors then I realized that even now this exists.” She also said that when designers dress TV actors they dress them in such garments that nobody wishes to wear. I wish I did not have to say this.A Few bollywood actors or TV actors and actresses have a larger following among the public This has to change.
